APLOAD was responsible for preparing the Landscape Architecture Project (Preliminary Study Phase) regarding the Restructuring of the Grande Hotel, located in Pedras Salgadas.
The aim was to restore the Building’s relationship with the forest area, creating adequate conditions for the enjoyment of green spaces, in close harmony with the necessary ecological balance of the intervention area. We opted for a cohesive but bold project language, where water plays a prominent role. The large courtyard will act as a unifying element between the built space and the surrounding forest park and forest, with different ways of being and ambiences.
